In my textile art, I recreate memories into monumental compositions or small creations. Fabrics, lived-in materials, texture, colours, shapes, art, and events from the past and present inspire me. Old and new, matter and colour meet in surprising artworks and become 'paintings in textile' that are both impressive and serene.

I also recreate fabrics or favorite garments of a deceased loved one into memory textiles. Through upcycling into new textile creations, I give them a second life. It becomes an object of comfort and love, a memory in itself – to be cherished.
